Gene Rice is CEO
of Rice-Cohen International, an internationally recognized executive
search firm (www.ricecoheninternational.com). He was a board member for
the Make-A-Wish Foundation for 3 years and a volunteer for 15 years. Gene
has also been involved with Habitat For Humanity as well as numerous other
non-profit organizations. He is very involved in his community and coaches
travel and AAU basketball teams. He also sponsored many children over the
years at the World B Free Basketball Camp. Gene strongly believes
in giving back and has wanted to start his own foundation for years. This
desire to inspire young people has been realized in The Plant A Seed Foundation
as it provides an
opportunity for children and young adults to reach for their dreams.
Michele Rice has
also been involved in various non-profit organizations, while busy
raising 4 children. She was a volunteer for the Make-A-Wish Foundation
for many years. Michele worked all aspects of the wish,
conducting interviews and fundraising as well as taking the children
on their wishes. She is very involved in her community and looks forward
to helping inspire young people to attain their life goals.
